The hotel reception was open at the hours required. The staff especially the cleaners were fabulous. The RESTAURANT staff were OUTSANDING the food was AMAZING and we were never let down. MY absolute FAVOURITE part was the cheese platter to the room (after a delayed flight etc - I was starving) and I never in a million years expected the jam/nuts/grapes and simply devine cheese! Pay that chef more and keep her/him lol please pass this on. I have travelled across Qld this year and your hotel food was by far the absolute BEST keep it up (ps the lamb was great too - very happy the waiter advised it normally comes out rare so I could request it well cooked).

We were greeted by friendly staff and shown to our room which was quite lovely but a little small, so we asked if we could have an upgrade and they gave us one without any question. We had a gorgeous king suite with a so far and balcony and extremely comfortable king bed. We slept very well and awoke to have a gorgeous shower under the luxuriois rain head. We went down to the dining room and had a full buffet breakfast which had several gluten free options and was not only hot but delicious.

It’s about a 10 minute walk to Roma station, which is fine except it is nearly all the way up hill to get to the hotel so dragging bags is not pleasant. We did not find out until we arrived at the hotel that there is a free bus (Spring Hill Loop) that picks up at various places throughout the neighborhood and drops/picks up right outside the hotel. Super easy to use and get downtown to eat, or whatever. The hotel staff are nice and friendly. The hotel is quiet and the pool is nice.

We were going to a function that started at 2pm, so were very welcome to check into our room prior to the normal 2pm check-in time. The lovely girl on reception noticed it was my birthday, so offered me a bottle of wine, which was a lovely surprise. She also asked if we would prefer a balcony or one of the newly refurbished rooms. Everything was excellent, from the service and the room to breakfast in the morning. Would definitely stay there again.

Lisa

Lovely room with view to the river and mountain. The room was very quiet and cleanliness was of a high standard. The beds were so comfortable, like sleeping on a cloud!!! We thought that ‘breakfast included’ meant a continental breakfast but no, what a great selection there was of hot and cold delicious food could not fault our stayto choose from.
